-FOSTERING-
Fostering is a fun adventure for you and your whole family! When you foster cats and kittens for Kitten Krazy, you will receive the benefit of learning about the care and raising of kittens and cats, as well as receive all food, litter and medical care at no expense to you. Our Foster Coordinator, Dawn Fischer, has a vast knowledge of kittens and their specific needs. She will be your contact and can answer any questions you may have while fostering for us.
Kitten Krazy proudly holds ourselves to a high set of standards, which transfer to our foster homes. All foster homes must agree to:
Provide a clean, safe environment - a home visit will be conducted prior to foster home approval.
Quarantine the foster cats from other owned or foster cats; especially if they have not been tested or receive annual veterinary visits.
Visit our Klubhouse as scheduled via our medical snapshot (viewed by volunteers only) to ensure all cats and kittens in your care are receiving their medical needs on a timely basis - typically Monday nights between 4 pm and 6 pm.
Take foster cats to the vet, if necessary, with approval from Dawn, the Foster Coordinator, or Wendy, President of Kitten Krazy.
Monitor all young children whenever they are in contact with the foster cats and kittens.
Call Dawn immediately if there are medical issues that arise.

- VOLUNTEERS -
We are an all-volunteer organization. No paychecks are drawn from the work done at Kitten Krazy. Many of our volunteers graciously spend dozens of hours per week dedicated to our mission. Others make a 1-2 hour commitment once a week to help clean the Klubhouse. Our volunteers range from 5 years old (accompanied by parent) to senior citizens. There are many ways to help and everyone is appreciated.
If you are interested in volunteering or hearing more about the possibilities, please contact Katherine at woodykh@yahoo.com
