Adoption Information

Here you will find our adoption requirements, the medical and health treatments each Kitten Krazy cat receives while in residence, and the adoption fees for different kinds of kitties.

Adoption Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old to adopt any cat/kitten.

  • A valid state or federal photo ID (e.g., driver's license, passport, etc.) will be required at the time of adoption.

  • All forms must be read and filled out completely.

  • You will need to provide a current phone number and email address.

  • Renters must provide either a copy of the lease or a letter from the landlord stating that pets will be allowed.

  • All cats must go home in a proper carrier.  If you do not have one, you can purchase a cardboard carrier at the time of adoption for $5.00.

  • Only cash or credit cards will be accepted as payment.  We do not accept checks.

Health and Medical Treatments


In an effort to maintain a high level of medical wellness, we provide the following care to each animal we serve*:

  • Spay/neuter

  • Feline Leukemia (FeLV)/Feline AIDS (FIV) Testing

  • 1st FVRCP vaccination

  • De-worming

  • Flea treatment

  • Nails trimmed

  • Ears cleaned

  • Diagnosis and treatment of all medical conditions that present themselves prior to adoption


* Please understand that cats can be carriers of a variety of diseases, parasites and conditions that may go undetected. Symptoms may not appear during their stay with us. Therefore, we cannot assume responsibility for the medical condition of any animal past the date of adoption. 

Adoption Fees


Please note that the adoption fees shown below are typical but subject to change. These amounts are based on public demand for kittens and cats with certain qualities.

Kittens 6 months to 1 year = $130.00

Kittens up to 6 months = $150.00

Cats 1 year and older = $110.00

Purebred or Declawed* = $150.00

* Kitten Krazy does not declaw cats and does not advocate for declawing. Adoptable declawed cats were taken in already declawed.
